A portion of the Shadrach is held back for later release. The 2012 Shadrach 8 Year Old Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of Barossa and Eden Valley fruit, matured in 60% new French oak. It's still darn youthful, marked on the nose by leafy, tobacco and tea-like notes alongside cassis and black cherries. It's medium to full-bodied, rounder, plusher and softer than the new 2016, with a rich, velvety finish. It should be at its best over the next decade or so.--- 摘自Wine Advocate
